Senior Competition Team (Grades 7-12)(email to sign up)
Does your dancer want more performance opportunities? Our Senior Competition Team gives your dancer the chance to be a part of a tight knit group that performs at three competitions.
Competition gives our dancers the chance to connect with peers in the dance community outside of PKDC and receive feedback that they can take back to the classroom. Judges scores and opinions do not discredit or define the work of our dancers, but we do believe there is value in exploring the world of competitive dance.
The Senior Competition meets on an appointment based schedule. We work with the dancers and their families to find rehearsal times that work for all dancers and choreographers.
This team will compete 2 to 3 dances and perform them in our June 2025 recital.
Opportunities to compete solos/duos/trios are available. Only 12th graders’ pieces are performed in our June 2025 recital.
